In April of last year, I found myself in The Middle of Nowhere, Utah with a crew of 8 dudes, 1 gal, and a pup named Teak. It’s day one of our 5 night hike through Paria Canyon. We started our trek at the The Wire Pass Trailhead and continuted through Buckskin Gulch before meeting up with the Paria River. We then followed the river all the way to our exit point where it meets up with the Colorado. The canyon itself ended up being impossible to describe. It really is an awesome place in every sense of the word—each turn more incredible than the next. Below is my feeble attempt in capturing the Canyon. Enjoy.
