In April of last year, my roommate Matt, his pa, and myself left the rockies in search of some desert landscape. Utah did not disappoint. Canyonlands is an incredible place that should definitely be on your short list. In total, we did 4 days and 3 nights covering a vast majority of The Needles District. What fascinated me the most was the incredible amount of diversity in landscape. One minute we’re entering the wide open Cyclone Canyon. The next, we’re squeezing though the slots of the Joint Trail. Each turn held something new to discover. Definitely can’t wait to go back. All images were shot with the Lumix LX-100.
